Welcome to Mr. Petecki's Homepage
It is my goal that my students will experience, not only the process of making art, but a understanding of the history, its' influences, and the importance art plays in each of our lives. My goal is to develop visual thinkers who are capable of creating new solutions and producing successful product through reading, discussion, activities, and perfection of technique. I want all of my students to exit my courses with a greater appreciation of how art influences their community, relationships, and personal experience helping them to create their own artistic opinions and styles.
To achieve these goals will take a lot of hard work and dedication. The key to success is a constructive relationship between teacher, students and parent. This site is an effort to make that relationship and resources accessible. You will find my course syllabi, profiles, and resources to help you attain success in my classes. I will update this site regularly and promptly answer any email questions or comments!
