- Both Varsity and Sophomore teams will be playing Sandburg High School at home on Tuesday, September 23 at 6:15 and 4:30. Both games will be played on the Stadium. The Freshmen will be at Sandburg at 4:30.
Notes from the Net:
- The Sophomore Vikings lost 1-3 in a rainy match against Mount Carmel. But the Freshmen team was able to to make the most of the inclement weather and come a away with a 4-1 victory over Mount Carmel.
- Congrats to the Varsity Vikings in a stunning 2-1 upset over Lyons Township. Neal Zoellick scored the first goal and AJ Adrianzen scored the game winner with less than 3 minutes left in the game, with the assist coming from Bernard Siliezar. The Sophomore team lost 0-3 and the Freshmen lost 0-1 to Reavis.
- Congrats to the Sophomore and Varsity Vikings as they both beat Shepard High School on a very cold & rainy Thursday night. The Sophomores won 5-3, while the Varsity won 4-2, with a goals coming from Patrick Kenney, Mark Spencer and Bernard Siliezar(2).
- The Varsity team beat University High on Saturday in a shootout. The score was tied 0-0 at the end of regulation. Then Bernard Siliezar, AJ Adrianzen, Mark Spencer and Patrick Kenney all scored in the shootout, while Bernard held University High to 3 goals while playing keeper. The game was part of the Reavis Tourney.
- The Freshmen team lost Saturday to Marian Catholic by the score of 3-4.
- The Varsity team lost on Thursday in a tough match against Bremen by the score of 0-1. The Reavis Tourney will continue on Saturday at 2:00pm. The game will be at Bremen.
- The Varsity team opened the season with a bang on Tuesday, beating Shepard High School 8-0. There was a great team effort all around with goals coming from Alex Flor, Scott Spencer, Danny Gallagher, Daniel Babatunde, Neil Zoellick and Mark Spencer
