D.A.R.E. - (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is a program that teaches drug resistance skills to 4th graders and 5th graders. The D.A.R.E. curriculum is delivered by a uniformed officer.
C.L.O.W.N. - (Children Learning Other Ways Naturally) is a program using trained clown characters to present substance abuse information to students. The program is being used with 2nd graders.
Respect Program - is a K-8 program that stresses respect for ourselves, others, school and community.
Peer Mediation - is a program to assist in the mediation of conflicts between students(5-8).
Health Curriculum - focuses on facts about physical and mental health, drug and alcohol abuse, stress and related difficulties, safety and nutrition.
Teens Against Tobacco Use (T.A.T.U.) - a anti-smoking program taught by high school teens.
Operation Snowflake - is a prevention program for 7th and 8th graders from James Hart and Parker Junior High. Snowflake is scheduled for February 14, 2009 at Homewood Flossmoor High School South Building.
Participant applications will be available mid January.
Operation Snowflurry - a prevention program for 5th and 6th graders that is held on April 25 at the North Building at Homewood Flossmoor High School. Participant applications will be available in April.

Project Charlie - is a K-5 drug prevention program based on building self-esteem, teaching social competencies and discouraging the use of drugs as a way to avoid problems.
Teens Against Tobacco Use (T.A.T.U.) - a anti-tobacco program taught by High School teens.

Skills for Adolescence -Quest - is a non-profit organization dedicated to healthy development of young people. This program is for grades 6-8 in which a positive approach is used to impart the skills necessary to make healthy choices.
Project Alert - is a prevention program dedicated to achieving two primary goals: 1) prevent teenage nonusers from experimenting with drugs; and 2) preventing teenage experimenters from becoming regular users.
Operation Snowflake - is a program focusing on prevention through education and emotional growth by promoting personal and social development in both Parker and James Hart School. Operation Snowflake is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Homewood Flossmoor High School South Building.
