Students and Parents,
It is my expectation that every student in my classroom will be successful. This year students will acquire an understanding of United States History and strengthen reading, writing, research, and speaking skills. In engaging with historical content, students will develop decision making skills and deepen their understanding of themselves as citizens. While this requires a lot of hard work from students, I am here for extra help and support.
The 2008-2009 school year marks my eighth year teaching at Homewood Flossmoor. I graduated in 2001 from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and have finished my course work for an M.A. in history from University of Illinois at Chicago.
